Here are some of my favorite holiday cards that I did this year for some of my clients. Most of them started as templates and then I altered them to fit what I needed.
My family ones are a couple blog posts down, which I didn't actually send out until about mid-January. I was so busy getting everyone else their cards, I neglected mine. Next year mine will be more of a priority instead of a last minute rush that I forget to send out.
My best friend brought in her son to do his 3 month shoot in the most adorable outfit ever. We decided that since I had my 6 month old in the studio at the time and some newborn props handy that would go with his outfit, that we should dress up the babies and do a shoot with them together. After we got them dressed, we noticed that they totally could pass for baby versions of Allie & Noah from The Notebook. I am so in love with these pics...even the ones that would be considered outtakes.
This little guy is pretty much my nephew. He will grow up calling me Auntie Feeshie and think that my kids are his cousin's so you will probably be seeing about as much of him as you do my little ones. Meet baby Jonah....the first set of images are from him at the hospital the day after he was born and the second set are of his newborn session at the studio. I almost got to photograph his birth as well but it didn't quite work out. Maybe next time :)
Thanks to a referral from a regular client, I had the pleasure of photographing K and her boys a couple weeks ago. Everything about this session worked awesome from the lighting to the location and the end results. I was just happy going through every photo....not that I am not happy going through other photos, just every once in a while you have a session that you are editing that brings you so much joy seeing what you captured, and this was on of them.
It always cracks me up what kids use to get real smiles for their portraits. The younger boy here (along with the boys in the family portraits a few posts down) was no exception. He had all of us laughing.
