About a year ago, I was working at my other job (Signs Now as a part-time graphic designer/sign production) and got a call for a banner for a fundraising event. The group was called Friends of Mazie and was a support group created for a little girl fighting for her life against leukemia. I was directed to their facebook page to look at images for the banner they needed.
Maybe it was pregnancy hormones.... or the fact that the adorable face online was the same age & not much different looking than my older daughter, but I immediately wanted to do what I could do to help Mazie out and had to keep myself from crying at work about it. I started with getting my boss to donate a banner for her events. Fast forward a year later and I had the idea to do a Mini-Session Fundraising event. Mazie was the first thing that popped into my head.
Here are 3 ways you can help out during the event:
1. MINI-SESSIONS - On Saturday December 1st from 11am-6pm I will be scheduling Holiday themed mini-sessions. Packages start at $150 and half of the amount paid will go to Mazie. There will be 10 time slots available. To book your time slot, session must be scheduled and paid for ahead of time.
2. SCHEDULE A FUTURE SESSION- book a session for a later date and half of your session fee will be donated to Mazie. Session fees start at $100. Must be booked by Sun 12/2.
3. PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE- Need an idea for a Christmas present for a loved one? Purchase a gift certificate and half of the amount will go towards Mazie. Must be purchased by Sun 12/2.
4. DONATE - directly to Mazie by taking check or cash to: Bank of the West -1045 George Washington Way - Richland, WA 99354 - Account: Crazy for Mazie

I am wanting to expand my services to different areas of the country and one of them is Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are getting married around the area of Chattanooga, TN or even Dalton, GA - I would love the chance to photograph your wedding! I am looking for one or two engaged couples getting married in 2013.
Feel free to contact me if you like my work and I would love to consult with you over Skype. My wedding photography is fully guaranteed and I have family in the area I love to visit so for now there are no additional travel charges.
How amazing are those first few moments when you finally arrive to the beach and everyone gets to just run around enjoying the sand & waves?
I was super happy to be able to capture family portraits for this adorable family. Addie & Chris were one of my first weddings I ever photographed (while still shooting film even) and are one of the only weddings that I did early on that I still love their images. Their little man was super serious at first but I found a few things that cheered him up once he warmed up to the camera.
I had the honor to photograph the Women Helping Women Luncheon a couple weeks ago where Elizabeth Smart was the guest speaker. I am so glad I got to be a part of it and hear all about how Elizabeth has overcome her experiences and how she is helping others now.
