Look who is already 9 Months Old! I can't believe it has happened so quickly. One more session and Baby Chloe graduates from my Baby Steps Package! We decided to mix it up a bit this time and did a Lifestyle Session at her house an

This is the first of a few posts coming up. I recently updated most of my sample products so it is like Christmas as the deliveries hit my doorstep. The first one is a calendar of the lovely Nitara Ashling (need a beautiful singer in the Seattle area?...she is the one to contact.)
I just love how this turned out. It is a 12 Month Calendar on a pearl cardstock. I made my parents one of my kids & cousins for Christmas and they loved them.
Next should be a 30x40 Wall Portrait. I was supposed to be here yesterday but FedEx didn't make it in time. It is sitting in the warehouse according to my tracking #, I might have to call a friend there and see if I can go steal it.
My older daughter is starting to show signs of Photographer's Child Syndrome (We will use PSA for the rest of this blog post.) What is PSA you ask? Well...it might be easier to just show you.
You get the idea right? I have been hearing about PSA and seeing samples over the years from my photographer friends. Now, I get the pleasure of experiencing it first hand. My baby is like a little celebrity putting her hand up saying "No photos mama!" She should grow out of it in a few years but in the meantime I will have to get creative in how I capture her photos unless I want a bunch of shots with her hand in the image, grumpy scowls or just the side of her head. I can still get her to smile for the camera with bribery or reverse psychology but I think those will only work for a little bit longer and usually result in a super cheesy grin that any kid ages 2-4 thinks is what smiling is supposed to be for a camera.
I feel like I should have titled this... Tennessee Transplant Wants to Come Home More
I have had quite a few hits on my site lately for weddings in Tennessee. I want to put it out in the universe that I for sure travel. I am originally from Chattanooga, TN and am looking to broaden my wedding market to the area. I absolutely will travel for destination wedding photography pretty much anywhere in the US but my heart is home in Tennessee. In a perfect world I would be photographing 1-4 weddings a year in the Chattanooga area spaced out 3-6 months a part where I could come back with my kids and visit my family....mainly my Mimie and Paw Paw who I miss dearly.
Soooo....if you are getting married in Chattanooga or the surrounding area in late 2013 or any of 2014, I am offering my regular wedding pricing without additional travel fees on top. I have a free place to stay and will just make a trip out of it. If you are having your wedding at Rock City Gardens, I will make you one hell of a deal.
Interested in learning more? I am available via Skype to chat about your wedding day and your photography needs. Feel free to give me a call at 509-521-3611 or email me from my contact page.
I just got back from a Gender Reveal - Lifestyle Session at one of my client/friend's house that included both sets of grandparents along with the family. Mom & Dad didn't even know the results. They had the doctor put them in the envelope and had the box filled without knowing what color was in it.
Want to know what Christie & Bryan are having? Well your suspense ends here!
That's right! They are having another girl! Big brother & sister were hoping for a boy and didn't take it well at first. They warmed up to the idea by the time I left though. They are both so smitten with little Chloe, that I can't imagine they won't be just as in love when the new baby comes. Poor dad was a bit in shock, he is going to be surrounded by girls here soon. Congrats guys! Can't wait to meet the new little one!
